Jolie Signs For Tomb Sequels

While it's long been assumed that Angelina Jolie will play Lara Croft in the planned two sequels to Tomb Raider, so far the actress herself hasn't commented on the rumours. That is until she spoke to Empire magazine this month (February 2001). 'Quite a few of us are signed up for two more,' Jolie told Empire's roving set reporter, going on to explain why the film is ripe for franchise. 'Lara's like James Bond and a dirty Indiana Jones. Oh and absolutely a woman. I doubt you'll forget that. As for whether Billy Bob will be asking to don the Lara costume on her own time, Anglina scotched the notion saying; 'Well he sees me running about naked. So I don't think the shorts do that much for him.'
