Earlier this year we broke the news that Robert Zemeckis is planning a motion capture version of A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey playing several of the roles (since confirmed as Scrooge and the Christmas ghosts) and Bob Hoskins as Fezziwig. Today comingsoon.net has got word of a few other actors joining the cast.
Though their roles are not stated, Colin Firth, Robin Wright Penn and Gary Oldman have all agreed to don the green, ping pong ball bedazzled suit when the film shoots next year. Rumours persist of Tom Hanks having some involvement (he played multiple roles in Zemeckis' Polar Express), but Hanks himself said in the latest issue of GQ that he won't be appearing in the film.
