One of France's most prestigious film awards could soon belong to Vanessa Paradis, the French actress and singer who dates** Johnny Depp** and is the mother of his daughter. Paradis, who first shot to fame as a teen pop singer, has been nominated for a Cesar award for her role in La Fille Sur La Pont (The Girl on the Bridge). If Paradis wins it will be her second honour from the Cesar camp, as she won for her 1990 film Noce Blanche. And organisers are hoping that the star will bring her lover Johnny Depp to the ceremony next month. A source says, "We hope she will be able to attend the ceremony with Johnny Depp. Last year Johnny Depp unfortunately came on his own to receive the Cesar of Honour. They are both invited."
