Halle Berry has been out (well, virtually, at least) on the Moonfall press tour, which means questions about other movies she may or may not be involved with. Talking to IGN, she revealed a bad news/good news scenario for the John Wick universe. Her badass character Sofia won't be in the fourth Wick movie – but she may well get her own spin-off.
Introduced in John Wick: Chapter Three – Parabellum, Sofia is one of the Keanu Reeves character's main allies, who helps him out (with the aid of some very well trained pooches) when he's under attack from other assassins.
"There could possibly be a Sofia... her own movie," Berry tells the site. "So she might not be in John Wick, but she might be doing her own thingy-thingy."
According to Berry, the potential new movie could serve as "putting some ointment on a little sore," referring to the Jinx spin-off from Bond movie Die Another Day that fell into limbo and never happened. Fingers crossed for her – and all of us – that it happens.
Moonfall is out on Friday. John Wick: Chapter 4 is targeting a 24 March, 2023 release.
