Lionsgate was the final studio to present at this year's CinemaCon event, and it rolled out some hefty names, including Keanu Reeves (in person) for John Wick: Chapter 4 and Sylvester Stallone for The Expend4bles.
Reeves and director Chad Stahelski debuted a trailer for Chapter 4 which, you'll be shocked – shocked, we tell you! - to hear features the Baba Yaga dishing out violence to other assassins and various baddies.
The fourth Expendables promises the return of Jason Statham and Stallone, alongside the usual batch of action veterans and younger performers (Iko Uwais is the villain for this one.) And again, there was a trailer full of crazy chaos.
Eli Roth's video game adaptation Borderlands also promised chaos – while delivering Cate Blanchett in a bright red wig firing guns. So you know you're going to want to see that one.
It wasn't all action – the company also has the likes of Judy Blume adaptation Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, culture clash comedy About My Father and White Bird: A Wonder Story, which follows another character from 2017 heart-warmer Wonder.
Finally, with production already underway, the company unveiled the briefest teaser for Hunger Games prequel The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes. It's set years prior to the original movies. We meet the 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow, who would become the tyrannical President of Panem. The young Snow sees a chance for a change in fortunes when he is chosen to be mentor to Lucy Gray Baird, the girl tribute from impoverished District 12.
The prequel will hit cinemas on 17 November, 2023.
