With Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom and Michael Douglas in place, the cast for the new CIA thriller Unlocked is already stocked. But director Michael Apted has found room for John Malkovich and Toni Collette{ =nofollow}.

Unlocked will focus on Rapace as a CIA interrogator who accidentally supplies key information to terrorists who are planning a huge biological strike on London. Once she learns what is happening, she scrambles to stop the plan before it can be put into motion.

So far, all the other roles – including Malkovich and Collette's – are classified, though we do know that Apted is already busy shooting the film, working from Peter O’Brien’s script.

Malkovich will be a malicious octopus in the new **Penguins Of Madagascar **animation, which is due to arrive here on December 5. He’ll report to the Unlocked set after wrapping work on a new miniseries about legendary female spy Mata Hari, which has been shooting in Portugal and Russia. Collette, meanwhile, is filming **Miss You Already **alongside Drew Barrymore and Dominic Cooper, and that should be in cinemas next year.
