With a healthy cast already gathered, you might be led to believe that Chris Nolan had already found everyone he needs for his next film, Interstellar. But you would be wrong! Just yesterday we reported on Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy and Timothée Chalamet in talks to sign on, now John Lithgow appears to be completing the line up.
We say “appears” because there’s always a chance more people will leap aboard before the film’s production launches, and, given how things work on movies these days, and even during.
Nolan is working up the film based on a script he adapted from one younger bro Jonah wrote back when the project was in Steven Spielberg’s sights. Though the major details are being kept secret, we do know the plot finds a heroic group travelling through a wormhole into another dimension.
Currently, the cast roster is bulging with good choices including Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin and Nolan regular/probable lucky charm Michael Caine. Interstellar is set to emerge in our cinematic space on November 7 next year.
