Cameron Crowe’s latest romantic comedy still, stubbornly may not have a name, but it has an increasingly impressive cast to make up for that. It seems John Krasinski is set to join their ranks, as he’s in talks to get involved{
Crowe’s new film sees Bradley Cooper as a defence contractor who is sent to Hawaii to oversee the launch of a brand new weapons satellite from the island. Yet his mind is swayed in another direction when he meets an Air Force pilot (Emma Stone), encounters mysterious island forces (no, not the Smoke Monster) and begins to question whether the launch should go ahead at all.
Krasinski is negotiating to play a military man married to Rachel McAdams, who will play Cooper’s ex-wife. Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, Alec Baldwin and fellow recent recruit Bill Murray are also aboard.
Crowe has been cranking the cameras based on his own script for a few weeks now, aiming at a 2014 release. Krasinski was last heard rather than seen in Monsters University, and has another animated film, The Prophe****t (not to be confused with the French prison drama), occupying his time at the moment.
