John Boyega is no stranger to space, at least in the fictional cinematic sense, what with his trips to that galaxy far, far away. He'll be in another sci-fi tale, only a slightly smaller scale, as he's on to co-star with Black Panther's Letitia Wright in Hold Back The Stars.

Another Earth and I Origins director Mike Cahill is attached to make the film, with writer Christy Hall adapting Kate Khan's novel. Hold Back The Stars was published in 2017 and revolves around a man and a woman who revisit memories of their love affair on a utopian Earth while they are trapped in the vast void of space with only 90 minutes of oxygen left.

Boyega's been busy back as Finn for Star Wars Episode IX, due on 19 December next year. He's also providing the voice of Bigwig for the new Watership Down miniseries airing on the BBC this Christmas, with Netflix handling it elsewhere. Wright will be back as Panther's Shuri in the fourth Avengers film, arriving on 26 April 2019.
