He’s still hard at work making Tron Legacy (with a little help from Pixar, among others), but Joseph Kosinski hasn’t stopped lining up other projects to keep him busy once he escapes the game grid. And he’s just added a new sci-fi thriller, Archangels, to the list{
In what sounds like a cross between Men In Black and the **Bourne **films, Andrew Will’s spec script follows a man who is part of an elite team that hunts down aliens that have somehow made it past Earth’s defence systems.
The Heat Vision blog is reporting that New Regency is developing the script for Kosinski to possibly direct, with Ridley and Tony Scott’s production company Scott Free also involved.
Will, meanwhile, is a newcomer who has broken into Hollywood thanks to a short film called Homelanders.
**Archangels **would join a remake of Disney’s The Black Hole on Kosinski’s to-do list, and there’s always the chance that the Mouse House will want him to segue straight onto another Tron film if Legacy is a success. Got to keep those franchises moving!
