With work still underway on the Fantastic Beasts sequel, which still doesn't have an official title – More Places To Find Fantastic Beasts? Oh Look, I Located Additional Beasts Of A Fantastical Nature? – it has expanded its cast to include the likes of Jessica Williams and Brontis Jodorowsky.

And they're just the first two names mentioned by a report on the Pottermore site. While Williams' character isn't listed, Jodorowsky (as the surname suggests, he's director Alejandro's son) will be Nicolas Flamel, a character originally mentioned in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. Flamel, who is known in the wizarding world as an alchemist who discovered the Elixir of Life (based on the real-life alchemist of the same name) will make an appearance in the flesh at last.

Other confirmed new arrivals? Wolf Roth as a character called Spielman; Call The Midwife's Victoria Yeates as Bunty; Derek Riddell as Torquil Travers; Poppy Corby-Tuech as Rosier; and Cornell S. John as Arnold Guzman. The names Travers and Rosier should be familiar: they turn up in the Harry Potter series and belong to two Death Eaters who served Lord Voldemort.

Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Carmen Ejogo are all back, with Jude Law, Callum Turner and Zoë Kravitz (who appeared in the first film as a picture of her character, Leta Lestrange) joining the ensemble.

David Yates is busy directing the film, working again from JK Rowling's script. It'll be out on 16 November next year.
