There was a time when the Marvel/Netflix collaboration was a big, shiny, exciting jewel for the streaming service to shout about whenever a new season of one of the shows was imminent. These days, with the dawning of Disney+, the expiration of the deal and Netflix unceremoniously cancelling the likes of Daredevil and Luke Cage, Jessica Jones remains the last show standing, and not for much longer. So now, like a shopkeeper bringing out something they've kept in a dusty back stockroom, here's the first teaser for Jessica's third and final season, which will drop in June.
The official synopsis reads, "When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both." So that's that, then.
Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss and Rebecca De Mornay are back, with new recruits including Benjamin Walker, Jeremy Robb and Tiffany Mack.
Jessica Jones will premiere its final 13 episodes on 14 June.
