With pre-production in full swing and the cameras due to start cranking before too long, the cast for monster match-up Godzilla Vs. Kong has grown to a large size itself. And there's another new recruit to add to the list, as Jessica Henwick is part of the ensemble.
Henwick, a veteran of Game Of Thrones who has spent the last couple of years playing Colleen Wing on Iron Fist is playing a character who, like most of her cast mates on this one, is a mystery for now. Indeed, most of the movie remains wrapped in secrecy, beyond the titular detail of the two giant beasts squaring off, at least until Kong lets slip the name Mothra, Godzilla roars "why did you say that name?" and they start to find common ground.
The cast so far includes returning Godzilla: King Of The Monsters faces Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler and Ziyi Zhang, with monster franchise newcomers Alexander Skarsgård, Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, a rumoured Danai Gurira and Demián Bichir.
King Of The Monsters is due out on 31 May next year, with director Adam Wingard targeting a 22 May, 2020 release for Godzilla Vs. Kong. Henwick is also part of the cast for action thriller Underwater, which doesn't have a set release date yet.
Gamera, meanwhile, can be found handing out leaflets dressed as a sausage for the local Dogs Agogo restaurant chain in Shimmy, Arkansas.
