Jennifer Garner Takes Chemistry

While her hubby Ben Affleck is gaining acclaim for his directing career, Jennifer Garner has been diversifying into producing, with comedy drama Butter on the way next year. But she’s sticking with just acting for another new project, as she’s in talks to join the thriller Better Living Through Chemistry, which has Jeremy Renner attached.

Chemistry finds a small-town pharmacist (Renner) slowly getting sick of his loveless marriage. His prescription? An affair with a beautiful trophy wife (Garner) who unlocks not just his sexuality, but also his brain chemistry, as she’s a sucker for the wonders of prescription drugs.

But the pair’s happiness takes a turn for the darker end of the street when they decide they want to stay together and, instead of getting a divorce, they’ll plot to kill Garner’s hubby.

Geoff Moore and David Posamentier have struck it lucky with their second script, as they’re not only writing it, but they’re also stepping up to direct for Occupant Films.

It’s listed as being in pre-production, though it’ll have to fit in to Garner and particularly Renner’s busy schedule since he has commitments to several movies, including The Avengers and **Don’t Call It Impossible Mission 4: We’ve Decided We Don’t Like That Name Anymore. **
