We've seen Alias veteran Jennifer Garner returning to action recently for Peppermint, and playing a focused, judgmental woman in TV's Camping. She's headed back towards more gentle comedy for a new film called Fantasy Camp.
I Feel Pretty duo Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein are writing and directing the movie, which will follow Julie (Garner) as she attends a reunion at the theater camp of her youth, Camp Footlights, where she will get the chance to challenge her fears, live out her dreams, and finally take the stage.
It sounds like the sort of blend of sweetness and laughs that Garner has done well in the past, and she's on to produce as well as star. The actress is still developing parenting pic Yes Day and recently signed to team back up with Alias' JJ Abrams for new TV series My Glory Was I Had Such Friends.
