Though** Hurt Locker** duo Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal still have yet to decide on a final name for their film about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, they have well and truly opened the casting floodgates, adding two new names to the ensemble with Jennifer Ehle and Nash Edgerton.

The film, which Entertainment Weekly reports is about to kick off shooting, already boasts the likes of Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt, Edgar Ramirez, Jason Clarke and the recently-added Kyle Chandler.

As for the story? Well, it’ll be a fictionalised account of the search for the notorious Al Qaeda leader and, since he’s been located and killed, the mission that eventually cornered him in Pakistan.

Ehle was last seen in Contagion, where she dealt with a nasty virus. This time, she’ll probably spend more time in tactical situations than labs.

Edgerton, as you might have guessed from the surname, is Joel’s brother. He’ll be playing a Navy SEAL in Bigelow’s film. He’s been a stunt performer on various blockbusters including The Matrix, and the Star Wars prequels and also produced, directed and edited The Square, which Joel co-wrote. His most recent stint behind the camera was for short film Bear, which premiered at this year’s Sundance fest. And he’ll be hoping you don’t spot him in The Great Gatsby, where he’s working as his brother’s stunt double.

Sony has the rights to the film, and aims to release it in the US on December 19.
