Jeff Wadlow previously dabbled in the comicbook world with 2013's Kick-Ass 2, but has more recently been in the Blumhouse world via Truth Or Dare and now Fantasy Island, which he's busy working on. He's getting back into comics for and adaptation of Danger Girl

Created by J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell, the original comicbook launched in 1998 and is still being published with new issues by IDW, follows the adventures of Abbey Chase, who is reluctantly recruited into an all-female secret spy organization. Chase is then paired with operatives Sydney Savage, Natalia Kasstle and "Silicon Val" to locate a series of objects with destructive power and keep them out of the hands of the Hammer Syndicate.

Wadlow will work on the script, which saw its initial drafts written by Umair Aleem, and aims to kick off shooting next year. Constantin Film's Robert Kulzer will produce this one alongside Jeremy Bolt of JB Pictures and Prime Universe's Adrian Askarieh.

Alongside Fantasy Island (due out next year), Wadlow also wrote the script for another graphic novel adaptation, Bloodshot, with that film blasting into cinemas next February.
