Brad Silberling has jumped ship from the offbeat black comedy Juno.

Apparently the Lemony Snicket director fell out with the production company Mandate on casting for the movie. But Mandate has already found a replacement, in the form of Thank You For Smoking’s Jason Reitman.

He’ll take over the tale of a pregnant teenager who makes some strange choices for her unborn child. With a script by Diablo Cody, expect Juno to get cracking as soon as there are actors aboard.
