Jamie Lee Curtis has been known for years as a successful actress, but she's now also looking to co-write and direct a horror film called Mother Nature for Blumhouse.
It's all part of a new deal that her production company, Comet Pictures, has signed with Jason Blum's team. Details on the film, which Curtis will write alongside Comet Pictures boss Russell Goldman, have not been release, though Deadline has learned it'll focus on climate change.
"I’m 61 and my motto now is: 'If not now, when, if not me, who?' I’m excited to have a creative home to explore my own ideas and others. Jason and his team have made me feel welcome. Comet is ready to bring these stories to screen life," Curtis tells Deadline in a statement.
Curtis will be back on our screens (and back with the Blumhouse team) for Halloween Kills, which is still scheduled for 16 October this year.
