After a long time spent floundering in limbo, workplace comedy Office Christmas Party is finally underway with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman in the lead roles. And the cast is growing, adding Jamie Chung, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Deadpool's Karan Soni.
They're joining the likes of Olivia Munn, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon and Randall Park in the film which, as the title suggests, will follow an office Chrimbo bash. Nothing has officially been released plot-wise, but we can assume things get spectacularly out of hand, as such events are sometimes known to do.
The idea was originally germinated by Guymon Casady, and this one has been floating in the development tank since at least 2010, having seen script contributions from Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. Timothy Dowling has written the current screenplay and Blades Of Glory duo Josh Gordon and Will Speck are cranking the cameras now in Atlanta, taking aim at a December 9 release date this year.
