In a story we're convinced has a hidden Three Little Pigs gag in there somewhere, Woods turn to Straw* as actor James Woods joins the cast of the remake of the classic '70s Brit thriller.
Rod Lurie is writing and directing the new version of Sam Peckinpah's 1971 film, about a Hollywood screenwriter set to be played by James 'not to be confused with Matthew' Marsden and his wife (Kate Bosworth) who return to their small home-town in Mississippi, only to be greeted by an offence from her high-school football ex-boyfriend (played by Alexander Skarsgard).
Now James Woods, Dominic Purcell and Willa Holland have joined the cast, although their roles haven't yet been announced. Filming starts today in Louisiana, however, so hopefully it'll all become clear soon.
*If only Steve "Brick Tamland" Carrell would join, it would totally work.
