James Marsden Set For Walk Of Shame

Having already secured the services of Elizabeth Banks to star in his new comedy Walk Of Shame, writer/director Steve Brill, it would seem, has clearly been watching a lot of 30 Rock recently. Because he’s picked another of the show’s recurring guest stars to work alongside her in the film: James Marsden.

Marsden has slowly but surely been showing real comic chops in his film career (in addition to his fine Rock work) and is on to play Banks’ love interest. It's not the first time they've shared the screen, as they were both in 2005's Heights.

Banks will star as a news reporter who has a bad job interview and thinks she’s blown her big chance to be an LA anchor. So she heads out on a wild night to forget her troubles. But when she awakens blearily the next morning, she learns that she actually got the gig and must make it to the studio on time.

Just a few problems: she’s locked out of her house, is stranded in an unfamiliar neighbourhood and seems to have lost her phone, purse and ID. Thus begins an epic trek to achieve her dream.

With Willie Garson, Ethan Suplee and Bill Burr also in the cast, Brill should begin shooting next year. Marsden will next be seen in The Butler,** The Loft**, Red Machine and 2 Guns.
