Man completes draft of screenplay we already knew he was writing. Man tweets about it but reveals nothing. This is what the internet calls news. But buried in the non-story about James Gunn adding the final full stop to his Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel screenplay, is at least a hint of something to come. It might not be called Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.
Phew. 1st draft [#GotG2](https://twitter.com/hashtag/GotG2?src=hash). [#NoSpoilers](https://twitter.com/hashtag/NoSpoilers?src=hash) [#NotEventheTitle](https://twitter.com/hashtag/NotEventheTitle?src=hash) [pic.twitter.com/Yd6mhpgLNe](http://t.co/Yd6mhpgLNe) > > — James Gunn (@JamesGunn) [June 2, 2015](https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/605877731318833153)
"#NotEventheTitle" says that hashtag. There isn't much room off the edge of that picture for anything to be hiding, but it could simply be a "2" or a "sequel" as a place-holder for what's to follow.
This "news" also, of course, strongly indicates that the film is progressing as planned. That means Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Groot will hit US cinemas again on schedule on May 5, 2017, with UK audiences enjoying a traditionally earlier glimpse on April 28.
