You might think James Cameron had enough on his hands, what with writing and making preparations to shoot the back-to-back Avatar sequels and overseeing the 3D remake of Fantastic Voyag****e. But 20th Century Fox is looking to tempt him into one other producing job, kicking off talks for_him to executively produce a mysterious new project called **Myth_ that also has Avatar’s Sam Worthington and Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura interested.

According to the Heat Vision Blog, Myth was pitched to the studio by writer Will Staples and now has Cameron’s ears perked up. So far, nothing whatsoever has leaked about the plot, and all anyone seems to know about it is that it’s big, it’s in the sci-fi genre and it’s bursting with action. Oh, and Worthington is apparently not attached to star right now – he’s simply producing along with Cameron and di Bonaventura if the project goes ahead.

Staples is best known for writing the likes of the Call of Duty game, and has seen been scoring studio script work, including Apaches for Disney and World’s Most Wanted for Universal.

Myth is at a very embryonic stage for now, so don’t expect all the names attached to still be aboard when – or, more accurately, if – it makes it to screens…
