No Time To Die

Do you expect him to talk? Well, you should since that’s the entire point of podcasts. And as No Time To Die sticks to its (Aston Martin-mounted) guns with its proposed November release date, the latest stage in its Covid-extended rollout is the arrival of an official James Bond podcast. Even sexist, misogynist dinosaurs who are relics of the Cold War can’t escape the podcast boom.

Launching on Wednesday 30 September, No Time To Die: The Official James Bond Podcast will consist of six episodes focusing on various things that make Bond, well, Bond – music, gadgets, cars, luxurious locations and more – and feature brand new interviews with the likes of Daniel Craig himself, co-stars Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Jeffrey Wright and Naomie Harris, No Time To Die director Cary Joji Fukunaga, Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and the people behind the No Time To Die theme song, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. The series is also set to include an exclusive extract from Hans Zimmer’s upcoming score.

As it stands, No Time To Die is expected to arrive in UK cinemas on 12 November – a date it staked early on when the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic forced it to shift from April. While other major blockbusters – including Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow – have continued to push further back into more distant release dates, the latest No Time To Die trailers and posters have stuck firmly by the proposed November arrival. Stay tuned for more news on when, exactly, Bond’s latest mission will be with us. In the meantime, we have a podcast to keep us going – just, don’t listen to it on Q’s experimental new exploding earbuds.
