We could all use a little romance in these times, so thank goodness for new love-struck film The Statistical Probability Of Love At First Sight. The cast – currently led by Haley Lu Richardson – is now growing, with Jameela Jamil, Dexter Fletcher, Ben Hardy, Sally Phillips and Rob Delaney aboard.
Vanessa Caswill is directing the film from a script by Katie Lovejoy that adapts Jennifer E. Smith's book. It takes place over a 24-hour period and follows Hadley (Richardson) and Oliver (Hardy), who begin to fall for each other on their flight from New York to London. But, as the logline reads, "is it misfortune or fate that separates them when they land? The probability of ever finding each other again seems impossible, but love — and London — may have a way of defying the odds."
Fletcher and Phillips will be Hardy's parents, while Delaney is set as Richardson's father, who moved to London after his divorce. Jamil, meanwhile, is the story's narrator. The cameras are rolling now in London. At least, we hope they are...
