After the success of 2014's Nightcrawler, filmmaker Dan Gilroy next wrote and is directing Inner City. But to follow that, he's looking to reunite with his first movie's stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo for an untitled new project.

The new movie is wrapped in secrecy for now; besides not releasing the name, Gilroy has revealed little other than it's apparently set in the art world. And quite what Russo and Gyllenhaal will be doing in the new project is still unknown. But let's be honest here: we're all excited to find out what this duo might do next.

As you might expect, there are several companies vying to finance and distribute the movie, including Netflix and Fox Searchlight.

With Gilroy still busy on Inner City, expect this one to come together either later this year or next. Gyllenhaal will next be seen in Netflix's Okja, due at the end of this week, and has worked on Wildlife and Stronger. Russo recently shot action comedy Villa Capri.
