Regency Enterprise has decided to go directly to jail. The company has bought Herbie Fully Loaded writer Mark Perez’ script Cellmates and made a deal for him to direct the film.
The film – described as a high-concept comedy – sees two college friends strike a bargain with a tough inmate after a weekend in the country jail. Hilarity ensues when he’s released and demands something in return.
