We suppose there are worse things in life than to have to delay your first crack at filmmaking to work on the next season of your excellent, critically-adored TV series, but that’s the dilemma that faced Matthew Weiner late last year when Mad Men's success got in the way of him shooting romantic dramady** You Are Here**. Now, according to Pajiba, he might just be back on track, with Jack Black, Matt Dillon and Renee Zellweger loosely attached to star.

If they do commit and the film actually gears up into production, it’ll focus on two thirtysomething roommates (Black and Dillon) who generally spent their time smoking weed and avoiding any adult responsibility. But then one of their fathers dies, leaving his childish, unstable progeny with a general store, a country home and millions of dollars in Amish farmland.

Black’s on tap for the heir with Dillon likely to play a hard-living weatherman who likes nothing more than to chase women and stick to the easy life. Zellweger would be Black’s sister, who is annoyed that her slackabout brother is the one to get the inheritance.

And there’s apparently an offer out to Rachel McAdams to take the part of a younger woman, Black’s dad’s widow, who the two men fall for.

Nothing is locked in place yet, and Weiner has already lost batch of cast members – Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Jennifer Aniston were originally linked with the three main roles – so if he delays again we could see the film arrive with three complete unknowns…
