As he gets set to make new comedy Sex Tape later this year, Jake Kasdan is reaching out to people he’s worked with before to fill out the ranks of the cast. Now Jack Black has agreed to pop up in a small role.
Sex Tape will see Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz – who, let’s not forget, both appeared in Kasdan’s Bad Teacher – as a couple who decide to ditch the kids for a night and put the raunch back in their marriage by making a sexy recording. Naturally, faster than you can say Anthony Weiner’s magic phone photos, they wake up to discover that it’s missing. Cue a frantic search to save face, among other body parts.
Black is set to play the CEO of a major porn company who likely has his own reasons for wanting to get the tape. It’s apparently more of a cameo, but should be fun.
Kasdan is scheduled to kick off filming in the autumn. Black was last seen over here in Bernie and will be back in the recording booth for Kung Fu Panda 3.
