Ioan Gruffudd, the Welsh star of Hornblower, is set to play former Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli in a new biopic. Gruffudd will portray the politician at age 28 in the film which has the working title of Dizzy. It will focus on Disraeli's affair with an older woman. The producers are also hoping to secure the services of Anthony Sher, who previously played Disraeli in Mrs. Brown, to star as his older incarnation.
