Last week brought us the poster, and now here's the trailer for Clint Eastwood's **Invictus, starring Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as Springboks captain Francois Pienaar.
As you'll be well aware by now, it's the stirring tale of Nelson Mandela's post-prison-release attempt to unite South Africa behind the 1995 Rugby World Cup final: an underdog sporting drama where the stakes are the fate of a country.
The film is based on John Carlin's book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation. Eastwood's title comes from the poem by William Ernest Henley, which is what Freeman is quoting from on the trailer's voiceover. "Invictus" is Latin for "unconquered".
The UK release date is February. US audiences get it in December.
