Quentin Tarantino may know a thing or two about making movies but it seems like the poor fella’s lacking in spelling skills if the official title of his long-gestating World War II project is anything to go by.
Inglourious Basterds (not Inglorious Bastards as we were previously led to believe) may have started principal photography but nobody seems to have pointed out the typo. Much like the early screenplay that leaked onto the internet a few months back, it seems the galling moniker is an attempt to distance itself from the 1978 Enzo Castellari film which inspired QT.
To coincide with the start of shooting, The Weinstein Company has issued a press release. New additions to the cast list include Omar Doom and Michael Bacall (from Death Proof) and Julie Dreyfus (Sophie Fatale from Kill Bill).
