Today, in case you missed it, is Earth Day, observed annually since the 1970s to hilight environmental issues. This year it'll see 120 countries signing the landmark Paris Agreement on climate change. But if that's not enough reason to celebrate, here also is the new trailer for the world-demolishing Independence Day: Resurgence. There's more focus on President Pullman in this one.
Will Smith was busy on Suicide Squad duties for this one, but Emmerich has rounded up old ID4 hands (Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner and Judd Hirsch) and brought in some fresh faces (Jessie Usher, Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe, Joey King, Sela Ward) for a cosmic scrap that sets Earth against invaders even more powerful than before.
