We've had to wait a few years for the return of director Brad Bird's Pixar-based superheroes as seen in The Incredibles, with the director consistently saying that he'd only make another film about the powered-up domestic pack if he found the right story. Now the sequel, Incredibles 2, is on the way next year and the teaser trailer is online.

It's a true teaser, focusing on Incredi-nipper Jack-Jack, who we learned in the last film, has powers. Here, still unable to quite control his various abilities, he creates the logo for the new movie, before we cut to dad Bob (Craig T. Nelson) discovering his powers.

Not much has been released about the movie, but we do know it'll be set moments after the 2004 movie ended, and will find the family working together again with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) to thwart a new villain. Of course, given that it's Bird and his team, there will be more to it than that. Incredibles 2 arrives for US audiences on 15 June next year, before leaping over a tall building to land in the UK on 13 July.
