It's been a hell of a long wait to see it, but today we finally get a look at Louis Leterrier and Edward Norton's take on The Incredible Hulk...and a fair bit of Abomination for good measure. You can see it at iFilm here.
We actually think Universal made the right decision holding this back for a while. Ang Lee's film ran into a lot of fan criticism when it revealed the Hulk to early in a doughy looking Superbowl spot. While we're sure there's still some final small tweaking to be done here, as there always is on big summer blockbusters right up until release, this new Hulk looks pretty great to our eyes. And it's good to get a proper look at his nemesis Abomination too – who, we're glad to see, doesn't look like the silly comic book version.
The beats in this trailer really work. There's the right amount of build up of Bruce Banner angsty stuff before we get the pay off of his greenness in full. And Leterrier certainly seems to be delivering on his promise of more action. What do you think?
