After months of speculation, Lars Von Trier's censorial hot potato The Idiots has been passed uncut by the BBFC. The Danish director's latest, which focuses on a group of highly intelligent individuals who pretend to be mentally handicapped in public, attracted attention both for its thorny subject matter and for a brief group sex sequence in which erections and penetration are clearly visible. Cinemagoers get to see for themselves when the movie is released on May 14.
