As we head towards the Oscars, Avatar and The Hurt Locker have both been scooping up awards, but Kathryn Bigelow's bomb-disposal drama took a big step forward by nabbing the Producers Guild of America award for best feature from a competitive field of, for the first time, 10 films.
While it's impossible to predict the Academy Awards based on other gong shows, this is certainly a good sign for The Hurt Locker as the PGA awards have often lined up with Best Picture at the Oscars. At the very least, it means no one should count the movie out come 7th March.
Up scooped the animated award (not really a shocker), and there were few surprises among the TV winners, with Mad Men and 30 Rock walking away with their categories.
Our favourite note? Both The Colbert Report winning Live Entertainment and Stephen Colbert credited as "Dr. Stephen Colbert, DFA". That's Doctor of Fine Arts, in case you were wondering...
