Hunt for Harry Begins

British casting agent Susie Figgis has kicked off the search to find a Harry Potter. The agent, who is based in London, told Empire Online that she's looking for kids with acting experience - either professionally, or from work with a drama club. Anyone hoping to be chosen for one of the three main characters, Harry, Ron or Hermione, will need to have the physical characteristics as described in the book, according to Figgis. For Harry, they're looking for someone aged between 9 and 11 who has the confidence not to be fazed by working with a film company, for Ron red hair and freckles is needed and for Hermione they're looking for someone who's 'a little bit bossy'. Kids who think they're in with a hope should send a photograph together with details of their age, acting experience, height and telephone number to the following address as soon as possible.
