It may seem like Darren Aronofsky, who's currently putting the finishing touches on The Fountain in time for Cannes, will never decide on his next film. And sadly, this news story is not the announcement that he’s finally committed to a new project.
But he has agreed to produce Lucas Sussman’s script pitch The Hunt for Universal.
The supernatural adventure film sees the world’s top hunter on a mission to snag the ultimate trophy: Satan. Let’s hope Bedazzled's Liz Hurley doesn’t play the devil this time. Although… Liz Hurley being chased through a swamp by gun-toting big game hunters? We’d watch that.
Sussman has a history with Aronofsky – he’s developing and writing an adaptation of cult horror tome Song Of Kali, which Aronofsky is considering as his next job. And he co-wrote Below with Aronofsky and David Twohy.
