Hugh Grant's been doing the publicity rounds recently, and Empire Online was lucky enough to nab this unpublished excerpt from a recent Heat interview in which Grant talks about the producer of his next movie About A Boy, Robert De Niro. Asked whether he'd been starstruck recently, Hugh replied; 'Oh yes. Robert De Niro is one of the producers of my new film and he came over to England the other day to sort of be nice to us all. That was terrifying going to meet him. I mean, terrifying because he's a big star and terrifying because he's a frightening guy I think. And the two guys who are directing the film, the Weitz brothers, they were scared too. So we had to meet up for a big drink beforehand. And sort of hold each other's hands. 'But he was lovely and very like Robert De Niro. Did I tell you this story already? You know he's sort of famous for repeating everything a hundred times. I remember at one point at dinner we were at Nobu and I said, 'You own this restaurant, what's that like? Having so many business interests outside acting?' And he said [perfect De Niro impersonation] 'Hugh, it's not easy, Hugh, it's not easy, Hugh, it's not easy.' 'I was quite drunk and this went on for about half an hour but I could see the table was enjoying it. When he got to about the four-hundredth, 'it's not easy' I said, 'So is it hard?' And he was like, 'It's really hard. It's really hard. It's really hard.'
