Hugh Grant, Charlie Brooker

2020 has been quite the year. And if there's one person suited to giving it a right old kick in the rear end as it slouches off into history, it's Charlie Brooker. Known for his annual "wipe" shows that take a comic look at the past 12 months, he's doing something else this year, at least according to Hugh Grant.

The actor, who was talking to Vulture about his role on The Undoing, let slip that, at the time of the interview, he was about to go and work on a Brooker project. "I’m doing a thing tomorrow, actually. Charlie Brooker has written a mockumentary about 2020. It’s for Netflix, and I am a historian who’s being interviewed about the year. I’m pretty repellent, actually! And you’ll like my wig."

Sounds good to us. And the chance to see Brooker unleash his scathing style on the year is a welcome concept given that his Netflix duties (particularly Black Mirror) have kept him from doing the Wipe show in recent years.
