20th Century Fox, eager to show off its new division Fox Atomic (it’s apparently aimed at young adults, hence the “happening” name), has announced the first release from the company unit.

Turistas, which will is currently being directed by Into The Blue’s John Stockwell, will follow four college backpackers who head off on their dream holiday, with Josh Duhamel, Melissa George and Olivia Wilde already lined up to star. And guess what? Yup, it becomes a nightmare, as an accident leaves them stranded, they’re drugged by locals and two of them end up kidnapped. It’s as if they don’t want us to go on holiday ever again.

"The movie chose us," chief operating officer John Hegeman gushed to Variety. "It's edgy, fun, terrifying and unbelievably exciting. It speaks directly to our 17- to 21-year-old target audience." Then it must be the best. Film. Ever. We’ll find out next year.
