Transplant surgery has saved many lives, but in movies and on TV it's more often than not the cause of some true terror. That would appear to be in the case in Netflix's new series Chambers. Check out the trailer for the show.
Chambers focuses on Sasha Yazzie (Sivan Alyra Rose), a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister. And that's all tied up with the parents of the young woman whose heart she now carries, Nancy (Uma Thurman) and Ben Lefevre (Tony Goldwyn), who appear caring and magnanimous, but might not be what they seem...
Leah Rachel created the show and ran it alongside Akela Cooper, with the series' 10-episode run landing on Netflix on 26 April.
