The MTV Movie Awards took place in Los Angeles this weekend, and as you'd expect, the ceremony was a tad more animated than the Oscars. The show was co-hosted by Seann William Scott and Justin Timberlake, who set the tone for the evening with a spoof on The Matrix Reloaded in which Timberlake employed his best dance moves to stave off the evil agent played by Scott. Among the chief winners at this year's awards were virtual characters. Yoda took the gold for best fight scene from Attack of the Clones and accepted his trophy with customary brio. 'Hmmm ... grateful am I to this award receive. To win, I did not expect,' he said. 'Promise myself cry I would not.' He then went on to thank a ton of people, until he was finally played off by the orchestra. Another CGI winner was Gollum, who turned up when actor Andy Serkis went on stage to accept the award for Best Virtual Performance. 'You're a liar and a thief,' the creature told Serkis whilst trying to prise the award from his fingers. 'It's mine!' The Two Towers was the big story of the night
