We still don't know a lot about Christopher Nolan's new film, action thriller Tenet, but we do know that Yesterday actor Himesh Patel will be part of the cast.

Nolan's latest, which he wrote and is busy directing in locations around the world, is described as an action epic set in the espionage and, according to rumours and hints, will have an element that plays with time.

Patel joins an ensemble that already includes John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson, Clémence Poésy, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh. So far, all that has been released is a poster and a teaser that has, at time of writing, only been screened in cinemas.

The film itself will be out on 17 July next year. As for Patel, he'll next show up in The Aeronauts, due on 8 November, and Armando Iannucci's new HBO sci-fi comedy Avenue 5. For everything we know (so far), head to our feature on the film.
