She sat out Part II because it took the boys to Thailand, but with The Hangover Part III returning to the scene of the original Las Vegas crime, Heather Graham will be back in the fold as the ex Mrs Stu Price. Mike Epps will also be back as the Doug who isn't Justin Bartha.
Graham, lest we forget, played Jade in the first film, the stripper and "escort" who married Ed Helms' Stu during his blackout and shared the ensuing adventure. It ultimately looked as if the two would stay together, but while she certainly saved him from the mean Melissa (Rachael Harris), it turned out that Stu had the marriage annulled anyway, since the second film was all about his nuptials to Lauren (Jamie Chung). Chicks, apparently, love a dorky dentist.
Plenty of character history to go over then, although relationship drama (unless the series is taking a very different turn this time) will not really be the point. Breaking from the wedding theme, however, The Hangover Part III is thought to be based around the gang rescuing Zach Galifianakis' Alan from a mental hospital. They'll then promptly escape from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground, where they'll survive as soldiers of fortune. OK, we made that last bit up, but they do already have the Face Man so you never know.
Todd Philips is the writer/director again, and Ken Jeong and Mike Tyson will also be back. The Hangover Part III is due to crush our skulls in the UK on May 24 next year.
