She may not have appeared in a movie since a tiny 2003 indie film called A Touch Of Fate, but Desperate Housewives has well and truly put Teri Hatcher back in the address books of casting agents.
She’s joining Rod Lurie sports drama Resurrecting The Champ, the previously announced film that stars Josh Hartnett as a reporter who finds a homeless man and mistakenly believes him to be a former world champion boxer. But even though he turns out to be a less-famous fighter (played by Samuel L. Jackson), a media whirlwind blows up around both of them.
Hatcher is playing the head of a TV channel who shows Hartnett the ropes of his new found fame. And her voice will also be heard in Henry Selick’s animated adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline.
