Harrison Ford has good reason to be a little weary, having spent much of the past year running around trying to keep ancient artefacts from the clutches of the Russians. So his next movie will involve far less exertion.
In the true-life drama Crowley Ford will play John Crowley, a man whose two children were diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that causes deterioration of the muscles and organs. Unwilling to watch his children simply waste away, he found a researcher who could develop a cure to save them. Sounds not unlike 1992 drama Lorenzo's Oil, another based on truth story of parents turning medical crusaders.
Crowley will be directed by Tom Vaughan (What Happens In Vegas) and is written by Robert Nelson Jacobs (Chocolat).
