Not content with bringing back the original duo of Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode and Nick Castle as one of the people playing Michael Myers for 2018 follow-up, Halloween, it would seem that the team behind the next sequel Halloween Kills are digging back into the franchise history again. Kyle Richards, who played young Lindsey in John Carpenter's 1978 film, will be back for the next chapter.

David Gordon Green is once again directing and co-writing the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems, while Carpenter executive produces and provides the score.

Not much is known yet about Halloween Kills and its own follow-up, Halloween Ends, which will be shot together and released a year apart, with Kills due in October next year. But we can expect Myers to be on another killing spree and Strode out to stop him as usual. So far, the movie also has Judy Greer back as Karen, with Andi Matichak as Allyson. Anthony Michael Hall, meanwhile, is playing Tommy Doyle, a character who was a child in the original and returned in Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers, where he was played by Paul Rudd.

Richards kicked off her career as an actor with 1975's Escape To Witch Mountain, and has worked on several other movies and TV shows, though she might be best known these days as one of the cast members of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
